IT’S OBVIOUS, BUT WE STILL HAVE TO SAY IT
Ride Open Trails: Respect trail and road closures. Refer to Trailforks or our website for trail condition updates and alerts.
Control your Bicycle: Ride within your limits and choose trails that compliment your riding style and experience.
Leave No Trace: Do your best not to damage or alter the trails our trailbuilders worked hard to create. Be sure to pack out what you packed in.
Plan Ahead: Know your equipment, your ability, and the area in which you are riding and prepare accordingly. Pack appropriate supplies for your trip.
Yield Appropriately: Let your fellow
trail users know you are coming. Anticipate other trail users around corners or in blind spots. Yield at trail crossings for oncoming vehicles.
Never Startle Animals: Animals are easily startled by an unannounced approach, a sudden movement, or a loud noise. Give animals extra room and time to adjust to you.
Mountain biking is inherently risky and fun: Ride at your own risk, within your limits and ensure you maximize the fun.
