Unfortunately, as trail use has increased, dog – dog and dog – human conflicts have begun to occur. We rely on dog owners to make the right decision with respect to if and how their dog accompanies them, but our suggestion is as follows:
DOG POLICY
Mountain Bike Minto would like to continue to support trail users bringing their dogs. However, in order for this to continue, dogs must be in control at all times, preferably by a leash. If your dog has a history of aggression we would ask that you leave your dog at home.
Ultimately, control of the dog and the behaviour of the dog is the responsibility of the owner.
Please understand that our hope and intent is to strike a balance, yet keep everyone safe.
