ABOUT THE RACE
Fostering community spirit while helping to raise awareness and needed funds for the Mountain Bike Minto trail system, the first annual Coal Miner’s Lung race was held in 2016. The event has grown each year with an increasing number of participants, corporate sponsorships, and community involvement. The 2018 race was the largest mountain bike race in Atlantic Canada with approximately 150 registered racers.
